I wanted this album to be unapproachable. Unattainable. Distant, lingering, like a dream. It goes on and then it disappears. It leaves an afterglow, but not an experience. I wanted this album to be a cloud of unconsciousness as its own, floating in the room unattented, noticed only when it has completely evaporated, I wanted it to be a ghost of an album that it first was, before all the flesh and bones were stripped away and only the spirit remained.
