about

Two live recordings of performances with butoh artist Iori Kinki. First one recorded at Marcos Nostalgy, 5th of February 2023, the second at Environment 0g, 20th of August 2023.

I prefer performing with butoh artists, because I feel like my music has been more influenced by their art and my own woodblock prints, than any other musician or music. Especially with Iori, I feel like he is a perfect avatar for the music, the flesh of my bone sounds, reaching out into the space. I have loved every single time we have got to play together and look forward to everything in the future.

On the second performance I only used the metal sculpture outside Environment 0g, shakuhachi, and some random pieces of junk metal and ceramics I had brought with me.
